The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the City of Alexandria, Virginia through 9 pm today (Saturday, December 9, 2017). Forecasts call for a snow accumulation of up to 2-4 inches. Hazardous travel conditions are expected due to the snow and ice; residents are urged to use caution while traveling today.
