It has been brought to the attention of the Management Office that there have been recent bike thefts in the garages at Carlyle Towers Condominiums in Alexandria, Virginia. We are currently reviewing our surveillance equipment to try and identify the individual(s).
As a reminder, please make sure that your bicycle is properly secured (Kryptonite locks are recommended); your bicycle is registered with the Management Office; and that you maintain current bicycle records in the event of a theft.
Please be conscious of anyone accessing the garage by foot when you are entering or exiting the garage. If you witness someone entering the garage in that manner, please contact the desk immediately – any description you can give of the individual will be helpful.
If you notice unusual activity around the property, you are also encouraged to contact the police. The non-emergency number is (703) 838-4444.
As a precautionary measure, Management Aides will perform additional and thorough patrols of the garages until further notice.
