As a reminder, the East Building garage floors will be power washed on Saturday, April 15 beginning promptly at 8:00 a.m. Vehicles MUST BE moved from the garage to the street (or any of the area parking garages) no later than 7:30 a.m. (Many residents move their vehicles the evening before.)

- UP TO 1 HOUR – Rate – $1.50
- 1 – 2 HOURS – Rate – $3.00
- 2-3 HOURS – Rate – $4.50
- MORE THAN 3 HOURS – Rate – $7.00/ MAX
Residents are not permitted to use Guest Parking. If your space is on the East Building side of the ramps, your space is located in the East Building garage. Parking spaces, facing the walls in front of the ramps, will have to be vacated as well. The ramps will be open to allow traffic to move to and from specific building areas not being power washed. It is estimated the project will be completed by 4:00 p.m. Management will broadcast a message over the public address system announcing the re-opening of the garage. Please remember, if you do not remove your vehicle, there will be a $58 charge ($50 non-removal fee and $8 tarp fee).
As pointed out in your copy of the Carlyle Towers Condominium Governing Documents, please be reminded that the garage deck slabs are constructed of porous concrete and thus are not waterproof. At all floor levels, water will flow through pipe penetrations, and cracks and drip onto the floors below. It generally takes several days for the water to seep through the hairline cracks. For this reason, dripping may occur in some areas for several days after the project is completed.
THE WATER CONTAINS CALCIUM DEPOSITS AND OTHER RESIDUE SUCH AS OIL, CONCRETE DEBRIS OR SOAPS, WHICH MAY BE DAMAGING TO THE PAINT ON YOUR VEHICLE. WE URGE YOU TO CONSIDER TAKING PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES. COVER YOUR VEHICLE WITH A TARP OR PROTECTIVE SHEETING. CARLYLE TOWERS CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE TO YOUR VEHICLE(S).
Tarps are available for purchase at the management office for $8.00/tarp. You may pick one up at your convenience.
If you are going to be out of town during this project, please arrange for a friend or relative to remove your vehicle from the garage.
