Panera Bread is a chain of bakery-cafe fast casual restaurants in the United States and Canada. They have two restaurants in the Alexandria, Virginia area. They will soon have three.
Panera Bread will be expanding in Alexandria into Carlyle at the old location of the Plaza Gourmet at 1940 Duke Street in Alexandria located across the street from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
In this location, Panera Bread will be open from 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM daily serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner and they will offer delivery in the Alexandria/Carlyle/Eisenhower East/Old Town area. The restaurant will have 26 seats inside with additional seating available on the patio.
