The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued U.S. patent number 10 million on June 19, 2018. The 10 million celebration continues this summer at the National Inventors Hall of Fame Museum.
The Expo, which is free and open to all, will feature exciting colorful interactive exhibits that illustrate the pervasive and important role trademarks play in our economy. Visitors will learn about the many different kinds of trademarks such as sound, shape and color, and will also learn about the history and evolution of trademarks, some of which are more than 100 years old. Iconic trademarked characters like the Chester’s Cheetah, GEICO’s Gecko and Bob The Builder will make appearances during the two day event. They will be joined by the USPTO’s Trademark Expo character, T.Markey.
