Motorists strongly urged to use alternate
routes to avoid significant delays
Weather permitting, the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project will be continuing road closures in the Telegraph Road area through this weekend. This work is expected to cause significant backups and motorists are strongly encouraged to find alternate routes. Variable message signs will be posted to alert drivers and provide detour information.

The work schedule is as follows:
Friday, Nov. 16 at 10 p.m. to Saturday, Nov. 17 at 5 a.m.
- Telegraph Road North will be closed between the ramp to Eisenhower Avenue and Duke Street.
- Detours: Motorists headed to Duke Street should take the ramp to Eisenhower Avenue East to the traffic circle to Holland Lane to Duke Street. Motorists headed to the Inner Loop should take Eisenhower Avenue West to the Eisenhower Connector. Motorists headed to the Outer Loop should take Huntington Avenue East to U.S. Route 1 North to the Outer Loop.
- Telegraph Road South will be closed between Duke Street and Mill Road.
- Detours: Motorists on Duke Street West should continue to Van Dorn Street South to the Outer Loop to Telegraph Road South. Motorists Duke Street East should continue to U.S. Route 1 South to Huntington Avenue West to Telegraph Road South.
